How to maintain recumbent and upright exercise bikes?

Although they require almost no maintenance, always keep them clean.

Currently, most use a magnetic brake system which does not need any maintenance. It is also not necessary to lubricate any component since the internal mechanisms of the bicycle are protected and do not need maintenance. You should only periodically check that the moving parts (pedals, seat, backrest) are correctly adjusted and if due to use they have come loose, tighten them again.

It is important to always keep the bicycle clean, therefore after each training session it will be necessary to wipe off sweat that may have remained on the handlebar or on the pulse sensors or screen with a clean cloth and dry, without using any corrosive products. We must also remove all traces of dust or dirt to prevent the components from being damaged.
