Good, accurate scales, well built but heavily reliant on the Tanita app These scales are accurate and give reliable readings. Segmental data analysis is also useful and the scale does take a longer time to complete this. The RD-545 relies on the Tanita app - data can be shared, although curiously, segmental data is only shared via the exported pdf in the latest update of the app. The scales can link to Google fit, but not Garmin, Fitbit or other popular fitness apps and watches. The scales are well designed and built, but only time will tell they remain functional. They do come with a 5 year guarantee. Bluetooth connection to my phone has been reliable.
