Simple but effectivePolar FT7M Blue/Black Heart Rate MonitorI wanted a fairly basic hrm and had already tried and returned a non Polar model which had failed to work. The Polar worked without any hassle and was easy to set up. The chest strap is comfortable and compatible with the cardio equipment at the gym. A lightweight watch means that it sits on your wrist comfortably and almost unnoticed. If you want a basic hrm I would recommend this product.

Not so accurate on the clipJawbone UPmove GrapeI bought this as a healthcare worker, because I need to be bare below the elbows. I wore the tracker on my pocket and it was not nearly as accurate as when I wore it on the wrist. I'm going to try clipping it to my laces (I was a brosette back in the day) and see if that helps. Having said that, that's the only downside. It's cheap, easy to operate, and the app is fantastic and links in with lots of others. I'll be buying another if this one fails!
